EXPERIENCE
Over twelve years of experience in mechanical engineering design and project management, primarily for heavy industrial and mechanical engineering projects, including:
· Mechanical design & detailing for:
- industrial equipment (material handling, hydraulic systems, machine design)
- pressure piping & pressure vessels per applicable codes (ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.9 and Section VIII Division 1
- tank design to API 650
· Preparation of welding specifications & welding procedure data sheets for structural & pressure welding applications (per CSA, AWS and ASME Section IX).
· Designated Welding Engineer responsible for procedures & practices at 47 CSA W47.1 certified welding shops
· Preparation of Quality Control Programs as per CSA B51
· Overhead crane & crane runway inspections
· Preparation of welded repair procedures for industrial equipment – overhead cranes, steel making furnaces, mobile equipment, lifting devices, tanks and pressure vessels
· Project management
· Visual inspection of welds and steel fabrication per CSA W59 & ASME
